Leather Journal Notebook A5, Geometrical Period

Made of Cretan goat leather. The binding is done by hand with waxed thread. Each notebook has 80 pages of bone-white paper. Silkscreen printed.
It comes with a tab where the title for each portfolio Is written, and a text with information about the original artwork that inspired us.
Made in Athens, Greece.
 
Inspired by Ancient Greece, Geometrical Period: 
For the first time, human figures appear on ceramics. Waterfowl and animals make their timid appearance in a large variety of geometric shapes. The first narrative and mythological scenes belong to this era.
Iliad and Odyssey were written in the late Geometric Period and on this piece we see one chariot from the Iliad.
